Description
Private property, Rolley castle was listed in 1979, and has a large classical style residential wing resting on its last remaining tower. The dates 1593 and 1733 you can see, indicate the periods of reconstruction and restoration, as the old castle already existed in the 11th century. For some years, under the minister Charles Rogier, a state school of agriculture had its premises on the magnificent Domain of Rolley. (Original text by MT du Pays de Bastogne)
