Description
Positioned in the village since 18 December, the armoured vehicles of Combat Team Cherry would oppose the advance of Panzer ‘Lehr’. However, after heavy combat, the Americans withdrew and abandoned the village, which would eventually be liberated on 1 January ’45. (text source by Guy Blockmans/OPT)
