5th January 1945, an American truck carrying ammunition stopped in front of the seminary. A huge explosion rang out and the 13 G.I.s along with their truck were destroyed. Just after the war, a small stone monument was erected at the site of the accident. (Text source by MT du Pays de Bastogne)
